Chances for Getting into UConn

I have:
-3.8 GPA
-660/600/610 SATS
-Honors or AP courses all four years
Numerous volunteer activities: 150+ hours this year
-Varsity Softball all four years, NHS junior and senior year, Mock Trial Team all four years (I am captain this year), Peer Ministry junior and senior year, Social Action Club senior year
-In-State

I applied early action and some of my friends have already received acceptance letters. However, we all submitted our apps at the same time, and I have not gotten a letter yet. Therefore, I am starting to get worried, so if anyone can give their input that would be great. Thanks!

Good chance.

About how long ago did you ( they ) submit the application(s) ?

Mid-October, I don’t remember the exact date off-hand and the last thing to send were my SATs and those sent on Nov.6. And thank you ThePhilosopher.

I agree with The Ph. Your GPA, SATs are clearly line for acceptance. I would be shocked if you were not accepted. Not sure whether in-state garners you any additional advantage but even coming from OOS, they would take you. I would look to see a bunch more decisions coming out within the next 2 weeks…before the XMas break. Good luck.

have you heard anything- my son has not and he had everything in by mid Nov. Has anyone heard from uconn?

People have begun to hear back: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-connecticut/812385-admissions-results-reference.html

Please do not ask questions or comment on that thread, though.

S applied late September (around the time app. came out) and we got the letter today. We are in state.

I got an acceptance letter today. Thanks everyone!
