@liomio2 - depending on the college you attend, you can potentially earn significant credit and placement for good AP results. In many cases AP results allow students a graduate a year early. Factored against that, $85 is a small price to pay. Check the rules for the schools you might attend when the time comes to sign up for this years exams.

Good AP results will also help your college chance. Your AP results will help you at most colleges. Your academic record is excellent, with the exception of the 3 on the CS AP. If you plan to apply to CMU SCS, that 3 will likely doom your application, unless you have an impressive track record in CS that can convince them to disregard it.

Stanford is a real long shot - your odds are hurt by being an Asian male, and there will be many candidates with similar academics to you but much greater EC involvement who are more likely to be chosen.

I think you have a shot at Cornell, and I imagine you’ll get into all the state schools you listed.

The self-reporting of AP scores surprises me, because colleges do consider them. I’m not sure what the rules are about selectively reporting scores. If it’s allowed, I’d still question it on ethical grounds - leaving out scores one is not happy with is a bit like submitting a transcript without the grades from classes one did poorly in, but I do understand the desire to cast yourself in the best possible light.

I imagine CMU SCS and Stanford will notice the lack of an AP score for the AP CS class. Perhaps they will assume you didn’t take take the exam.
