“Test scores rule you out for Cornell/Mich/UCLA.” ??? LOL he has a 2240 and two 700+ SAT IIs!

I’m guessing you’re applying for Engineering?

Cornell - reach
Mich - low reach
UCLA - high match
UIUC - high match
UT Austin - match
GTech - match

Thanks so much guys.

Yes, I don’t think your test scores will hurt you at all! Your SAT is higher than my son’s, and he got into COE at Mich… his ACT and GPA were very high, so that helped, but your scores and GPA look inline with the scores for the EA kids who got into UMICH this year. Good luck!

As a member of the Alpharetta High School graduating class of 2012 and a student in the Honors program at UGA, I am a little biased. I would urge you to stay in state and ask for the money that you would have had to pay in the form of Apple stock. I believe your class rank is really hurting you and may make all of the out of state schools reaches. I would think you are in good shape to get into honors at UGA
