Chances for Gtown '15

A family friend has his heart set on SFS, although he probably will not be applying early. I have extrapolated from his current profile to give you what he will likely have when he applies. What do you think his chances are???

Gender: Male
Race: White
Location: rural Wisconsin
GPA: 3.9+ (UW), Top 5%
ACT: 34
Curriculum: no APs (school does not offer any), but probably the most difficult offered.
ECs: -7 varsity letters in football, basketball, and track + 1 All-Conference + 2 trips to State.
-Captain of Academic Decathalon and Mock Trial teams.
-Student Council class something-or-other.
-consistent church and volunteering involvement.
-part-time schoolyear/full-time summer job, but nothing out of the ordinary for a high school-aged student.
-political campaign volunteer, elected as delegate to state Democratic convention.
-semi-legacy (mother did grad program in SFS IIRC).
Essay: about learning a foreign language while living abroad during his youth + challenges of intellectual development in rural schools.

Above average ACT score. It’s great that he has taken advantage of everything his high school and area has to offer. Colleges definitely consider that. Jobs are looked on very favorably as well, you might be surprised how few teens have regular jobs. I think he has great stats all around!! ECs are impressive. I would accept him…
