<p>I'm taking ACTS in a week. Hopefully my score will be higher.</p>

<p>Extracurriculars:
I was a member of the mass communications center in my high school for 3 years.
Varsity Outdoor Track- 3 years. All state team. Varsity Indoor Track- 1 year.
Sideline Cheering- 3 years (1 year Varsity) (1 year captain)
Varsity Competition Cheerleading- 3 years
Yearbook- 2 years, Editor in Chief this year
Beta Club- 2 years
NHS- 1 year
Latin Club- 3 years
National Latin Honor Society/Junior classical league- 2 years

<p>I also held a job for the end of my Junior year-Beginning of this year.</p>

Student Ambassador(People to People), I traveled to Europe and earned community service hours as well as 1 credit.</p>

Over the summer volunteering at library
I volunteer every other weekend at a humane shelter (9th grade & summer, 12th grade)
I volunteer (started in october) as a tutor once a week</p>
<p>I've had articles published in the local newspaper, and I interned for a local author. I plan on majoring in journalism.</p>
<p>My grades have definitely improved since I was a freshman. I've always taken all honors classes.
Due to specialty center restrictions I have only been able to take certain AP classes:
AP US History (11th)- 4 on the exam if that matters
AP Govt (12th)
AP Lit (12th)
AP Latin Vergil (12th)
My schedule is one of the hardest this year.</p>
