Chances for GWU EDII?

<p>I was going to apply RD but I got an email saying that I could change my application
to EDII if I want to by emailing them. I really want to go to GWU since
I was rejected from ED for my first choice college.
but I want to know my chances before I send them an email saying that I want to change my application to EDII.. help please!</p>

<p>SAT: 1930 (math 770 reading 560 writing 600)</p>

<p>SAT II: 710 math I
620 Biology</p>

<p>GPA: around 3.6</p>

<p>Class Rank: top 15% (class size about 650)</p>

<p>Courses: 4 APs and 5 Honors</p>

<p>Grades usually all As and Bs.</p>

<p>Extra Informations/Extra Curriculars/Activities:</p>

<p>Speak English and Korean fluently, Spanish a little bit
Played flute for 7 years
High School Symphonic Band for 3 years
Marching Band for 2 years
National Honor Society Member for 3 years
NHS Tutoring Volunteer

<p>Because of your relatively low GPA (i.e., relative to GW), your chance in getting in to GW RD is, I think, NONE (even if your 3.6 GPA is unweighted). </p>

<p>However, if you “really want to go to GWU,” as you said, EDII is your best bet. Good luck!</p>

<p>I agree with 5K- there is no downside and a big advantage to applying ED2 if GW is your current first choice. Apply to your safeties, too, of course.</p>
