It's my dream school, and I'm going to apply early decision. I've read that last year gwu accepted 41% or it's ED applicants, which is encouraging. Here are my stats:

White Male from New York. Upper Middle Class (~200k family income I estimate). Junior in a private prep school that costs about 8k a year if it makes any difference
GPA: 3.7--great upward trend; 3.5 in 9th grade, 3.76 in 10th, 3.88 in 11th(so far)
SAT: didn't take yet, 211 on psat(78 writing, 69 CR, 64 math); psat was taken with no preparation
I should be able to pull off a 2200 on the sat once I crank out some studying
Volunteer: over 100 hours at local hospital, I will be volunteering for a couple of political campaigns this summer(3 or 4)
Clubs: Business and Finance Club; a club where i tutored disadvantaged 2nd graders; support staff at school(we set up for different events
Other EC's: Baruch summer leadership academy; I may do a precollege program this summer if I can convince my parents to pay for it
Teacher Recommendations: my teachers love me, they should give great rec's

Thanks so much!!!
