do i have a chance if i apply early decision?? it's my number one school

oh and i haven't taken the sats yet, i got an 1830 on the psat i know that score needs to raise at least 100 points

I’m not too familiar with the school but you have a strong application overall. Make sure you study and, if possible, leave room to take the SATs more than once. Also, start asking for recs and working on an essay (if required now), it’ll save a lot of stress later. Good luck!

thanks so much i appreciate the feedback!! and for those of you who are viewing this and not responding, i’m also considering uc davis and university of michigan. is uc davis impossible to get into out of state?

you have a strong chance. your grades are above average for GW, and, if you can get over 2000 on the SAT–try for over 700 on both CR and W–you should be great! good luck!

good chance as along as sats rise, but you should know that sats are harder than the psats, upward trend with grades are good too and if u go early i think its harder to get in, or maybe deferred, i think regular is easier for some reason

You have a great shot at Villanova and George Washington as long as your SAT is 1900+ you should be in. Your stats are great and fit good with that of your dream school. Good luck!! Hope you get in!! Oh and yeh…early decision will help.

You are definitely in at Davis. I am not very familiar with the other schools, but Davis is a for sure even with the SAT score you have now. I know many people with lower stats than yours that got in.
