Obviously I've already applied to Haas, but now I am feeling kind of worried b/c my EC's are not numerous as I would have wished (didn't do much outside of class first 3 semesters except screwing around). I worked over the summer (as a lab rat which is unrelated to business) and did IM's and was part of a few clubs, but mainly just as a member.

I thought my essays were alright, but maybe not outstanding.

I still have to take Econ 1 next semester, which sucks b/c I have already taken Econ 100A. Thus, Econ 1 is just going to be a lot of review from when I took AP Econ in HS and a GPA boost hopefully.

GPA (over first 3 semesters): 3.905, got an A in UGBA10 and an A- in Stat 20.

I give you an 80% chance of getting in. Because honestly, your GPA matters most, and yours is decent enough that as long as your other things are mediocre (as in not terrible), you’ll be fine :)

Thanks, that’s pretty good to hear. I sort of decided last minute I wanted to apply to Haas :P. If I don’t get in, I’m not really worried because actually my first choice major has been and will always be Econ(although my brother who was a Haas major is going to give me hell for the rest of my life if I don’t get it >.>).

If you like econ so much, why don’t you just do econ? No point in doing something you don’t like! And with an econ degree, you get the same opportunities as Haas~

I am going to do Econ regardless if I get into Haas or not. I like business just as much though!
