my god...you've taken 9 sat ii's already...wow, maybe if you focused on only like 3 or 4 of them you wouldn't have had the bio, chem, world, and math problems that you do now. btw...how'd you get such a high average in math but have such low scores...colleges will think that's grade inflation then, so they'll think your school's easy and thus yeah, it will probably work against you. Take it over, get better scores, don't take any new sat iis.

great chances at all schools. you should get in at least one of HYP. no, the SAT iis won't hurt, because essentially only the highest three will count. good luck. i envy you

what the hell man, how did you do like 200 points better on math II than math I? and why in god's name would you take this many SAT-IIs? jesus

Well, IIC Math is a lot easier than IC Math due to the curve. IC Math has no curve, IIC Math has a huge curve. Also, if you know how to use a TI-89 you can get an 800 without doing any aritmetic at all on IIC.

ok but there is no getting around the fact that to get a 790 on the math II SAT you must be good at math

a 540 on the math I SAT is not indicative of that

a small difference would maybe make sense, but 200 pts?

cheating on the math iic? These scores seriously do not correlate. Gets decent on physics and literally fails completely at chemistry.

whats the point of the bad Math IC score he has the 790 \Math IIC score, just list all your SAT II that are 750+

well i also know people who have done extremely well in chemistry & not in physics. with the math 1C i did not study. however for the SAT II's i took junior year (which are the ones i got 700+) i studied months for those. i took like 6 more SAT II's b/c obviously my 1st 4 scores were horrible.

"whats the point of the bad Math IC score he has the 790 \Math IIC score, just list all your SAT II that are 750+"
-thats a good idea

why do you care...you have 3 really good SAT2s, they only ask for 3

you're stupid

I have nothing more to say

who are you calling stupid? you won't be the one to decide whether i'll get into harvard or not.

exactly jimbob. everything else in my application will be superb. i know mt teachers will give me great recommendations. so ill just have to try my luck. ive improved DRASTICALLY. ive done the best i can.

lol if you are so sure of yourself then why the hell are you asking us for your chances, just 2 boasT?

scholar actually they ask for the top three, but when u send scores colleges will see EVERY SINGLE score on ur account. Yea they'll look at the top three, but they'll be very very suspicious of those really bad scores too. so i dunno....

I really don't like your attitude, Mr. "Scholar." You are supposed to make a post in the "What are My Chances?" to get other people's OPINIONS about your stats. Most of the people in the forum are just voicing their ideas about your chances based on the information you gave them. They may be right or they may be wrong. Live with it. Don't get so ornery.

But YOU -- you defend your stats as if they were SO precious. By the way, honey, they're NOT.

Now, you have suggested that you think you have a decent shot at the HYPS colleges. So, as someone else has asked, why post on this forum?

By the way, if your stats are real, they still aren't impressive. AT ALL (for HYPS). (Why take a gazillion SAT II's when you could have focused on a couple. Gosh, with that time on my hands, I would rather get 800s on "just" five SAT II's than take, what, ten?) You haven't done anything near to spectacular, like win state or national athletic awards, or write a book, or get at least Siemens semis. Are you interested in something other than taking tests?

Maybe you'll go to Carnegie Mellon, then become a testmaker for ETS or something. I think you might succeed at that; right now, it doesn't look like you'll be good at anything else.

lol lobgent chill out, we all know scholar is lame

i agree with lobgent
