What do you think? Any chance?

You're in a really interesting situation. I would have no way of guessing your chances, but your life sounds really cool.

Agreed ^^^^...

YOur case is definitely unique and is like nothing I have heard of before.

i think you wouldnt get in generally, but because of affirmative action(black) you could get in

you need to take SAT 2s

yah, i'm taking the two of the sat 2's later this year or next. I'll also make sure that my essay's some out stellar good! any chance?

Don't apply as a transfer, apply as a freshman like everybody else. You'll have a much better chance.

MUCH better chance as a freshmen. Besides - if you're 16 that's still pretty impressive.

I'm not sure that ur GPA is high enough. If you are tranfering at 16 I'd imagine they would expect you to be perfect.

I have another important question: Do I need the SAT I/II Scores before the application deadline, which is January 1st?

If so, will taking them later affect my application in a negative way?

Yeah you need them....

But what if there's only one Test date available before January 1st and I still have to take both the SAT I and II?? Cuz I can't take them on the same day, can I?

Dude, don't know how you will get those done. Do they have a Jan test date that is acceptable? Because right now, you are looking at 2 saturdays of tests and one date in Dec to do them...

How do I find out if they do?? just e.mail them?

There are enough test dates before January, but for most of them, the application deadline has passed (for internationals)!!!

But I'll phone them now...

Ok, they do accept the January 28th Test scores. But which Test would you take first? SAT I or II?
And what subjects can or should I take the SAT IIs in?

I speak French and German fluently (native language hungarian). Can I take both of them, since I would probably achieve high scores on them?

And another thing: I migrated from Hungary ten years ago after the fall of the iron curtain and pretty much grew up as a refugee, is that hook?

Furthermore, Do I need any special essays other than a personal statement describing my CV and ambitions for Harvard?

Thanks a lot for any quick response

To Blade:
It doesn't matter whether you take SAT II or I first. Most people probably take I first... I know I did, but it really doesn't matter. Just take whichever you are most prepared for.
If you think you can score well on both the French and German tests, go ahead and take both of them.

Your childhood sounds like it may make a great essay.

And you don't need anything more than is required to make a complete application.

To Trixee:
Wow! You sound so cool. Good luck!

OMG The application deadline for December testing has passed, so I might only be able to take the test on January 28.

I will try to get a free slot directly from the test centers.
But just in case I can only take one test, which one is more important?

Do they even consider my application which only one Test?

Thanks

dont waste your time applying to harvard trixee

hah! thanks for the advice, but I think I will waste my time applying to Harvard.

Blade:
You won't have a complete application if you take the SAT I (Reasoning) without taking the SAT II (Subject Tests) or vice versa. Try very hard to get one of those December slots or you'll probably not be considered for admissions.
