<p>You have excellent scores and good ECs. Your ECs do lack a little bit of variety and focus, but, nevertheless, they are still pretty solid. Depending on the depth of involvement and the success you have achieved in your “economics” based business, that could be a real boost for you, you should work it into your EC essay if possible. Your internship looks pretty interesting as well, perhaps you could look for a reference there. I think you have a good shot, nail those essays and you might make it.</p>

EVERY post I’ve seen you make has in some way or another disparaged someone’s test scores because they were lower than yours and somehow you just happened not to be accepted with scores higher than theirs. Test scores matter, but you don’t have to have a 2380+ to get into HYPS. I’d love to have this guy’s scores, and I’m sure many other applicants, successful or otherwise would have as well.</p>
