Any chance?

it's so depressing to see such young people stress out when they have over a year until they even have to start thinking about where they're applying. i know that i didn't start looking til the spring/summer of my junior year and everything went smoothly from there. please, don't stress. have fun! and come back later!

I didn't think about colleges until October of my senior year, and even then I only looked at my applications a maximum of 15 days before they were due, that would explain why I can't go somewhere besides Harvard, but seriously chill and and have fun with your friends.

god, what is with EVERYONE taking these Junior statesmen summer schools. they better get enough funding to migrate h clinton as speaker for all the damn schools b/c at this rate, they seem to be racking up as much funds as those leadership forums...

seriously, sophmores, freshman, 8th graders, relax. im a little nervous we're going to start getting 3 year olds wondering if they can get into really selective preschools (which actually do exist here in ny...oy vey). if you enjoy CC, that's fine, but dont get too nervous about your stats just yet. just do what you like and it will all work itself out. remarkably cliche, yes, but worked somehow for me.

first off, SAT is out of 2400, not 240 like the PSAT.
secondly, perfection is a bad goal, a very bad goal that will turn your life into sludge. don't aim for perfection. ever.

Your stats are decent.. but a little cliche. However, Harvard looks at your character, too, and I'm not sure how to judge you on that. So much could change between now and senior year, so we can't really give you fair judgment on your chances.

The stars are much further away than the moon. Furthermore, upon landing among the stars, your body would instantly disintigrate. So, wouldn't it be better to shoot for the stars and land on the moon? Or alternatively, just stay happily grounded and just come up with a really unique hook which Harvard would adore?
