I'm nervous because my A-B transcript was ruined by two incapable teachers. (I'm not trying to sound bitter, but one of them (English) gave the whole class this grade on the last day of the marking period for our oral presentation, in which the average grade was a 17/30. Then, I'm predicting a C for Pre-Calculus because my teacher is simply terrible. There are no other words around it. She couldn't teach us, and she used other teacher's quizzes.)

Honestly, I will not scream 'MY LIFE IS OVER' if my chances at JHU are bad. I honestly anticipate that I'll only be accepted at UMBC or something, and yeah.

But it's still nice to know! :)
Thanks!

Boost your SAT to 2100+ and you have a good chance.

Not going to happen with those scores/gpa and without a hook.

A mix of both of those^^^

Your GPA is low, but good SAT’s (aka, the universal test that’s the same for ALL students) should boost you up.
No one cares about 8th grade, don’t waste your time including it.

In addition, I don’t see a single EC listed here other than volunteering. Join some clubs, be as active as you can, get recognized, get some leadership. Do interesting things, utilize your fast approaching summer for an internship or something.

Right now, your chances don’t look that great, unless your Shakespeare when it comes to writing essays. Improve, and at worst, transfer from your backup. Apply ED too.
