Chances for Hotchkiss SPS Loomis Chaffee and Hill

<p>Hi im a current 9th grader at a decent public school and I'm applying to Hotchkiss, SPS, Loomis, and Hill. I'm an Asian American (South Korean parents but born here) so maybe that's a disadvantage. I applied to just Exeter last year and got rejected.
I got a 98/99 math and reading and 89 verbal last year on the ISEE (didn't take ISEE yet for this year) I'm working on writing better and didn't have interviews yet! In addition, my teacher recommendations are probably good because for first marking period(9th grade) my lowest grade was a 96%
Double Accelerated Course- Math(Acc Pre calc) and Science(Honors Biology)
4.0 GPA (Distinguished Honors)- 8th and 7th Grade
Member of NJHS
Solo Award- Music in the Parks Competition (Violin)
Grand prize- Drawing Contest in memory of Korean Appreciation Day
1st place- Chinese Speech Competition
Violin-6yrs-in string ensemble and string quartet-first chair since 4th grade
Community Service-2yrs-NJHS, in extracurricular group, volunteer at Korean school-President and TA
Chorus-6yrs-in large auditioned chorus and the most select choir group at school
Drama-4yrs-in school and community musicals-usually cast in supporting role or select dance group
Dance-3yrs-hobby but decent at it
Tennis-2yrs- take private lessons- kind of a beginner
That was what I wrote in my candidate profile but I forgot to write
Piano-6yrs-accompany at local functions
Private lessons for both piano and violin
also I don't take lessons but I'm not too bad at art and swimming
I might have more to add in a little bit because results for a group research competition I entered come out soon!
CHANCE ME PLEASE!!</p>

<p>Also I participated in CTY but SAT scores weren’t that great… highest score was math in the high 600s reading was high 600s too but writing was low 600s…</p>

<p>sorry keep forgetting things… I also need FA… and I’m at a middle school but go to high school for first block (taking acc precalc for 1semester and honors bio for 2semester) also in gifted program at school since 4th grade and trying out for county orchestra and county chorus</p>

<p>bump…? Also Hotchkiss is my first choice please Chance me(:</p>

<p>I currently have two boys at Hill. Congratulations on your great scores and achievements! I can only speak to my own experiences. Both boys scored 96% or above overall on the SSATs. Both took very rigorous course loads in middle school, and had lots of ECs. Hill is a family tradition for us, so the decision to attend was easy. Both have been challenged by truly engaged teachers, and by bright classmates from all over the world. I wish you the best of luck as you seek out the best school for you. SPS is another family school for us; a very large, beautiful campus. It is important to find the fit that is right for you. Good luck!</p>
