<p>The purpose of full-rides from CLS remains the same: to lure applicants from HYS. YLS can afford to fill its class based on non-numerical factors; CCN can’t.</p>
<p>The core problem here is that OP seems to think HY will be free for him while other schools will not be. For the life of me, I can’t comprehend where he’s getting that idea.</p>
<p>Law schools are unlike the colleges that are need-blind for international student and meet 100% of their needs with grants (HYP, MIT, Dartmouth, Williams, etc.). Colleges sometime give out so much grant ($50000/year) that the grant covers tuition, room, board, and travel. Law school is different. No matter how little your parents make, you will end up with a lot of debt (and law schools give loans to international students).</p>
