<p>I'm at Caucasian male that attends a highly ranked public high school in an affluent suburb of Chicago.</p>

<p>GPA: 5.27 on 5.0 scale (all A's except for one B+ in Freshman year English)
ACT: 34
SAT 2: 800 (Chemistry) and 770 (Math 2)
Class Rank: Somewhere in the Top 10%
APs: 5 Calc BC, 4 Biology, 4 Comp Sci, 4 Chemistry</p>

<p>Activities:
-National Honor Society
-Cum Laude Society
-Math Team
-Science Olympiad</p>

<p>Sports:
-4 year varsity swimming, state team, academic all conference, team got 3rd in state, captain for this upcoming year
-3 year varsity water polo, academic all conference
-9 years club swimming, IL state finalist, Speedo Sectionals Qualifier, NCSA Jr. Nationals Qualifier</p>

<p>Volunteer/Work Experience:
-Lifeguard for the past 2 summers
-Ran a coat drive this past fall and collected over 50 coats
-Teaching swim lessons to physically disabled children</p>

<p>Senior Courses: Grammar/Comp-H, AP Physics-C, AP Spanish, AP Econ, Comp Sci 2-H, Multivariable Calculus</p>

<p>I'm likely to pursue a degree in Engineering.</p>

<p>You have good scores and grades, but your ECs are quite lacking. Many people are like you with good scores, but your ECs are what set you apart. Try to be unique, and write good essays are your best bet. </p>
