Hmm well in that case, i think youve got a pretty good shot at HYPS. Your stats certainly arent holding you back. Try and get an interview, and apply to one ED.

narrow down your list a bit. I’m pretty sure you don’t actually want to go to 16 colleges and it’ll save you some stress. If you’re doing it hoping to get into one of your top choices, you’re still better off taking out maybe one or two ives or maybe one ivy and another school. If you’re reallt that confident you can get in, why so many?

I’m not going to apply to all of them, just trying to get a spectrum of the ones I’m interested in. Once I know where I fit, I’ll narrow the list down a little… though I don’t want to drop any Ivies. :P

sounds good. I’d say bring down to 10 schools. 12 max. as long as you keep a safety, some matches, and some reaches, you’re golden. your stats look good, but then again, most every ivy applicant’s stats look good. sometimes, it’s a matter of luck

Well one of them had grades and SAT scores very very similar to yours, she was in a sport for all four years of high school, officer of a few clubs, and was also valedictorian. She did a lot of volunteer work.

Another one had grades that were not as great as yours, pretty high SAT scores, although not as high, quite a bit of volunteer work, and officer of a couple clubs as well… oh and she was captain of a sport for her senior year.

Now you have really crazy good stats, I really think you can make it into Stanford.

But also, those two girls were in-state… from California, I think that also helped them a bit.

you have a good shot i’m jealous of your GPA and test scores. U of Chicago is a match for you, as long as your essays are great (They place a lot of importance on the essays, more so than test scores!).

But remember that your stats are really really very impressive, and Stanford does not really place a high importance on volunteer work experience. :D:D Dude I’m jealous as well, you’re totally set.
