What are my chances? Any advice? This is a partial plan--not yet done. Thanks so much!

Are you applying this year or next year???

Near outstanding academics (SAT I only thing, otherwise flawless and essentially perfect) and pretty strong ECs. (seems swimming and philosophy are your big things?)

So, I’m a bit unclear…how many have you already done? what’s accomplished and what’s “in progress”? (might want to separate accomplished from “working on”)

With this app and strong essays, you’d have a solid shot! (no guarantees though…)

I’m being overcritical in this, but in my opinion, you don’t “jump off the page,” but you do get close with swimming. Good luck!

How did you get an 800 on the SAT Lit? (I’m taking it soon and I’m panicking… ><)

All your things sound solid! Haha, amazing things~I’m jealous of your classrank. How did you manage to do all that?

Eeerm…
HYS - reasonable reaches (if everything in that humongous list of yours will get done); reaches because I believe those schools are really hard for anyone to get into.

Let’s just say that if you manage to achieve everything on that list of yours, you are in.

I will be applying next year. I clumped everything into that list because i wanted some opinions on what i think i will be able to do. I haven’t reached all the scores (i was a little ambitious in the goals there :]), but the leadership opportunities i either already have, or am essentially lined up for getting next year (captain of both teams and another year of presidents). I am currently number three in my class, but rose from 6 and eight, respectively, within one semester each. uhm, like i said: i haven’t done all of this stuff - its my goal list.

it’s easy to see that I won’t be getting much sleep for the next year. :P

overall strong, but nothing truly exceptional. But you defn. have a better chance than average.

~30%

Have you made the national top ten for Mock Trial?

our team made eight the year before i joined. we made state finals last year. we plan on doing well this year too.

state finals and top ten in the nation.. pretty close :)
