I need some feedback on where I stand as of now. I am gathering as much information as I can because I am pretty much on my own since my parents don't really know a whole lot about the admissions process. This forum is extremly helpful and I am glad that there are people willing to help.

I will raise my SAT scores as much as I can. And I understand that my activities arent amazing, I will work on that in the coming year.

Any help is greatly appreciated. :)

i live in NOVA too and I'm a rising senior in the full IB program too. you really need to raise yout SATs to have a shot at the schools you listed! Other than that it looks like you're on the right track, but stay on track junior year!! good luck!!!

Thanks, I believe I can get my score into the 2200 range by senoir year. anyone else?

Let's see how your GPA survives 7 IB classes and 2 intense activities first. Then we'll see.

UCLA: Reach (out of state)

You're in at UVA - Hispanic and in-state. I know URMs that got in with SAT scores way lower than 1900, way lower GPAs, and a course load not anywhere near as intensive as an IB candidates.
