Hello everyone. Im Avi and I am applying to several Ivy league schools across the nation.
I was trying to find an answer to this question unsuccessfully.
I am applying to Columbia, Princeton, Yale, Harvard, MIT, Cal-Tech, Stanford and Brown.
I am also applying for financial aid.

My grades are:
SAT I W-650 M-800 CR-600
SAT II MATH I 770 MATH II 800 PHYSICS 800
TOEFL 110
GPA 3.8

I obviously have a problem with my English level.
Do you think a have any chance?

PS
I am an ex-Special operations commander from israel.

Truly, none of us can tell you what your chances are. All of the institutions on your list are highly selective, most of them consider financial need in their admissions, and you are a non-traditional-age student in addition to being an international applicant. Your best advice will come from other Israelis who have recently gone through the application process. If you don’t know anyone in that category, you should pay a visit to the EducationUSA office in Tel Aviv [EducationUSA - Center Profile - U.S.-Israel Educational Foundation](http://www.educationusa.info/Fulbright-TelAviv) and discuss your college list with the counselors there.

A question. Why are you limiting yourself to a handful of the most competitive schools in the country? You would be a very intriguing candidate for any number of excellent colleges in the US, but you need to lower your sights a bit. (And if you don’t mind me correcting your nomenclature, note that MIT, Cal Tech and Stanford are not “Ivy League” schools.)
