Chances for international student?

<p>Hello, dear everybody. I am new here. I am a PRC studet studying in Singapore on a government scholarship. I would like to know my chances of admission into the Ivy League schools, especialy Princeton, coz I got a senior living next door to me who got to Princeton 3 years ago on a scholarship.</p>

<p>Here is my profile:
SAT1 1500 (math 800 verbal 700)
SAT2 math IIC 800
physics 800
chemistry 800
writing 720(taken last december as a subject) and 630( for the new SAT1)
School rank 5%
Honors:
(Before I came to Singapore)
National Gold Medal for Chemistry Olympiad (9th Grade)
State Silver Medal for Physics Olympiad (9th Grade)
2nd Highest score for High School Leaving Exam( out of around 50000 candidates 9th Grade)</p>

however I would say I have just some dabbling in these fields, as I have reveived no professional training in these fields. I just self taught these during my free time.But I was thinking my diverse interests may get the admission officer's attention. is it?

<p>pretty good, i'd say. just make sure that your essay is good (which shouldnt be a problem considering that you hav won an essay competition) and you do a good job on presenting ur accomplishments.</p>

<p>hello there fellow singapore student! sorry i cant comment on your chances since i'll be applying for the class of 2010 too, so i'm no more familiar with this than you. but just asking, dont you have any olympiads/research programme in singapore etc (i'm assuming u are in science cos most scholars dont do arts)? as for ccas/interests, do u have any awards/certification because it's kind of hard to tell how involved you are without any qualifications i guess. my seniors who got into ivy league all won international awards or at least did very well in national competitions. the international pool is really competitive :( good luck anyway!</p>
