<p>GPA: 3.93/4.00 UW, 10 total AP's + 1 Community College class by graduation
SAT: 800 Math, 730 CR, 740 W (worth retaking?)
SAT II: 800 Math level 2, 750 Spanish, will take USH and Chem this May/June</p>

<p>EC's:
Clairinet: all-district 3x, all-state 1x, committed member of a couple neighborhood ensembles
Boy Scouts: Eagle Scout with 1 palm, TONS of leadership, some kickass high adventure expeditions
Varsity Cross Country: some good regional finishes
....and some more minor club memberships that I don't really think enhance my app</p>

<p>I know LOR's usually come from teachers, but would it be worthwhile to get one from my Boy Scout scoutmaster who LOVES me?</p>

<p>I'm thinking of finance or engineering as a career. Investment banking, private equity or hedge fund if finance or any type of engineering.</p>

<p>Scoutmaster is usually a good use of a non-teacher LoR</p>
