Chances for ivies?

Ok so im going to have to transfer to any ivy i apply to, graduated 2006.
What are my chances if my GPA, SATs are high, volunteer work with the american red cross and elderly people, held full time jobs while in 2 year community college and a one year tech school, 240 hrs of community service in high school, two poems published in a book, currently writing my own book, photography buisness in process, certified in CPR, first aid and AED, medical assistant (graduated in 2010 from tech school).
One more year at community college before i apply as a transfer for fall 2012. Going to take as high level of classes as i can, and more volunteer work while also having a full time job. What are my chances of getting in to an ivy WITHOUT high school AP classes?? Not worried about my essays because im a writer, i jumped 2 classes after two weeks into my english class in 2007, my english professor said my choice of words are too intellectual for his class so he took my essay to the dean to get me advanced two classes. Not sure where i rank in my class though... Help!!!???
Any advice would be great. :)

Why did you go to a community college in the first place?

I went for financial reasons, my parents were in bankruptcy and couldnt afford a 4 year college, then i realized at 24 yrs of age i could apply for loans by myself so i took one semester off then went to community c for 2 yrs as general studies then took another semester off then tech school now this coming semester im going back to cc .

Sorry was trying to make it short. Im only going to cc this fall nd spring to keep going with knowledge and classes, challange myself and volunteer some more. What is my best bet? Could i have a chance?

You do have a chance, but you will have to explain your predicament or else they might misunderstand.
Usually, Ivy-League applicants take at least several AP classes. Not taking AP classes may hinder your chance.
But, with your high SAT score, and your background story, they might let you in.
You have to prove to them that you deserve an education at an Ivy, and that you are hardworking and determined.

Your novel is a unique factor that should help you get it. I say work on it, and try to publish it.

Thanks! Should i also take the ACT? And im going to see if i can schedule to sit for a subject SAT II test. If thats possible for me. What high level classes at cc would you recommend i take? Im really working hard at this. My essays are more important because an ivy such as yale looks for diversity in their school, so i really have to prove to them im not the same stories they hear about all the time ( ie. 4.0GPA, perfect SATs, lots of volunteer work and sappy essays.) They particularly look for people who STAND OUT!! And i intend to do so.

Definitely try to take 2-3 SAT Subject tests. If I am not mistaken, the next one is on October 1.

And your background does help set you apart from the wealthy kids who infest the hallways of Harvard. Make it work to your advantage!

Please chance me!

Yes i realize not everyone has parents that went through hardships financially but i need something stronger, i suppose i will start off with that but “go out with a bang” (if you will) because since i lacked AP classes in high school im going to need strong essays to prove im worthy of an ivy league. I really need to discuss essay ideas with somebody who really knows their stuff. Also i just started my book, it could take years to finish, edit and get published. I suppose i can inform them im working on it?
