Chances for Ivies?

I am happy with where I am going to be attending this fall, but would like to know for future reference if I would have any chance at being accepted as a transfer to any Ivy schools if I were to change my mind. My stats are:

HS GPA: 4.594 weighted

SAT: (1460/1600, 2190/2400)
740 Reading
720 Math
730 Writing

National Merit Finalist

APs: Bio (5) Spanish (5) Human Geo (5) Psych (5) Calc AB (5) English Lit (5)

HS ECs:
Volunteer at hospital (~175 hrs)
Internship at hospital (~135 hrs)
Volunteer at English Classes (for spanish speakers)
Volunteer in Elementary School Classroom
Teen Court
Winterguard
Also a few clubs/honor societies

Any input would be really appreciated! Thanks :)

which ivies in particular are you considering

I haven’t looked into each of their specific programs too much yet, so it would depend on that I guess. The only two I would not really be considering are Cornell and UPenn just because of location (obviously both are excellent academically, they are just both too close to places that I have already lived and I’d prefer some place different :))

your highschool academics certainly wouldn’t hold you back

its impossible to chance you though without knowing the rigor of your college GPA, activities/ECs, rigor of courework, and your reason for transferring. what specifically do cornell and upenn offer that your school doesn’t have?
your highschool activities really don’t matter unless you have an activity thats exceptional, ie. winning a national award, competition, etc… the national merit finalist is definitely good though

Great stats, but we need your college grades/courseload. You’re certainly on track, so keep it up.

CAVEAT: Don’t think of transferring as your golden parachute out of your current school! If you’re happy and doing well there, you could be sacrificing a valuable social and professional network that could help you down the road.
