you have absolutely no chance, looks like its community college for you.

Come on, you're a good candidate why even make this post

it was the c in physics.

lol, that makes u worry??? spend some time on this forum and you'll see that even people with impeccable grades get rejected, the c is not that harsh

You are a solid applicant. Don't assume you will get into every ivy because that just doesn't happen unless there is one amazing hook. HYP will be harded to get into just because they are HARD to get into but other than that you stand a good chance.

er... isnt IB a 2 yr diploma program? or does yourscool offer middle years too (which btw are not reli IB classes..) also which are your HL/sls?
(btw fully feeling your C in physics. physics HL is chewing me up this term)
o one more thing.. offical IB doesnt name their math courses like that, your school's a little strange. they have math HL(eek), math methods SL math studies(stats but for people that cant handle normal math SL) and further math (stats mostly)

yea same thing i was thinking, lynda.
IB is only a 2 year program, usually taken at the final 2 years of HS.

you have a good chance... stop worrying

Well, the fact that you mispelled the word "league" is not a good indicator... ; ) Just kidding, crazymaster. Your stats look good enough.

I think you'll be competitive at Cornell, Brown, etc. But at Harvard, Yale etc., I think you might be outshined. That C in Physics really hurts. I went to this seminar hosted by Yale's Admissions office and they said that Bs were okay but Cs were not.

I never knew the classes called IB algebra or IB geometry existed.

Uhm..there is NO WAY this schedule can be true, unless you're talking about PIB in your first two years.

Just because you're enrolled in the IB program, does not mean every single one of your classes are IB.

I kind of forgot about this post, but since some of you are wondering the 9 and 10 semester grades are PIB. I just forgot to put it in because I was in a rush. Someone also mentioned that not all of my classes could be IB, they are!

I'm still quite confused about your math course though. You said you take precalc IB, which is a non-existent course since IB methods SL covers a topic on calculus (not as indepth as AP ab since its only one chapter) and HL covers as much as AP BC. further math is taken with HL or after HL(stats ) math studies is the only course that doesnt deal with calculus at all (basic bussiness stats, so I've heard) which makes your school a VERY strange IB school ( not to mention the history courses, sounds like they just put the IB tag on normal US highschool courses)

anyways.. with good essay and recs I dun think the lower Ivies are going to be hard to get into. your stats are pretty ok for the harder ivies, but I do suggest that you decide on what exactly do you want to get out of your college education, because every ivy is different in many ways.
