So here's my stats.. I'm an international student (asian).

Predicted IB scores are all 7's except for English (6 or 7 i think)
Don't have any internships or anything related to my intended major, cus i couldn't find any.

Recommendations are.."exceptional", according to the counselor.

ECs
Varsity bball, volleyball
Ballers Inc. (organized this bball team for students.. i organized it)
Habitat for Humanity, Interact
M.U.N. delegate
free tutoring elementary student
coached elementary bball team for free
this.. medicine summit for pre-med students in jhu (i think it was called people to people or something)
Went to rehabilitation centers and cleaned stuff..

So.. what are my chances? I heard that BME ED in JHU is really competitive.. and i have no idea how strong my profile is. I'm also applying to MIT, Penn, CMU, UC Berkeley, UCSD, Columbia, Purdue, Duke, BU, WUSTL, Vanderbilt.

bump bump bump bump...

heh. Im applying early D for BME as well =)
your EC's are where you fall short, no leadership positions or nothing else thats strong.
you hit the numbers well, i think. a little better than mine. but i have a lot of awards and leadership positions in clubs.
btw whats that unweighted GPA out of?
good luck mate

the unweighted GPA is out of 4.3 or something (which is A+)
A is 4.0 and A- is 3.7, so im in between the A- and A range.

I think you have a shot!

bump............... any other opinions?
