<p>Hey guys,, I would really appreciate some advice/chances for the colleges I am applying to. </p>

<p>Colleges:
UNC-CH EA
UMich- EA
UVA- EA
JHU- ED (dream school)
Duke
UChicago- EA
UPenn
WashU-StL
Cornell
Vanderbilt
Rice
Emory EA
Notre Dame
NC state Univ</p>

<p>I know this is alot of colleges but if im applying ot college once in my life, im gonna do it right. </p>

<p>GPA: 3.9/4.0 , Unweighted 4.83ish . Rank: top 5% of a very small school
All As except for 1 or 2 Bs in college classes
Hardest curriculum at school, counselor notes this in rec</p>

<p>ACT: 34, 35 Superscore (i know alot dont calculate this)
SAT 2s: Math 2: 760, Bio M: 740</p>

<p>ECs:</p>

<p>4 presidential service awards (2 gold,2 silver)</p>

Founded HOSA
HOSA president and co president for 2 years
Teen Council Secretary
Town Environmental Advisory board (only teen on it)
Played on County All U16 cricket team
Invited to State All U19 cricket team
2nd place of state competition for research/etc
Have worked as a private teacher of chess at Science Academy for Tracked out kids
Nationally rated chess player. placed in top 20 numerous times in state. placed top 50 in Supernationals, placed top 5 several times in county championships.</p>

<p>I know my ECs are very weak and stuff but how does this factor in to my applications. </p>

<p>Any chances would be gratefully appreciated. My dream schools are JHU, Vanderbilt, and Rice. Really Really hoping to get into those!!</p>

<p>Well, coming from a JHU background for undergrad and Cornell for grad school, I don’t think so. I’m sorry. Don’t bother wasting the 70$ for application. qq. </p>

and if you really want to challenge yourself, try out for In n Out (I heard they pay over Minimum Wage, but it’s a lot of responsibility)</p>

<p>I think you are competetive at all these schools. I can’t do that high and low reach business, but I think you are probably match at most of the schools especially if you apply ED but RD even at these schools is crapshoot.</p>

<p>Low reach/Match for almost all of them. You have very good chances. Reach mainly for ivies because they’re ivies.</p>
