International Student BTW,
Great Additional Rec from JHU Alumni
Your UW GPA is a little low for JHU, and your ECs could be fleshed out more, but I think that you have some aspects going for you (i.e., the alumnus rec, relatively clear passion in your ECs). Your SAT is great, but it won’t be a deciding factor. I’m not able to “chance” you and say that you’re a “low reach” or a “high match,” but I will say that you have a chance at gaining admission, especially during ED. Are you applying for FA? If you are, it’ll be difficult to get it. It’s almost always tough to get FA as an international student, as American institutions don’t always feel the need to provide it (unless, of course, it’s an outstanding applicant).
There is a possibility I can get my GPA up to 3.69. Not applying for FA, don’t really need it.
BTW: My GPA Trend is nice, i have a 3.3 Freshmen, 3.9 sophomore and 3.8 junior
