Hello there! I want to clarify that I’m only in high school and what I’ll tell you right now is based on what I heard after attending numerous college fairs and admissions conventions. I’d say after completion of your freshman and sophomore years, what you’ve done certainly is not bad. I would think it would be beneficial to try to pull up your ACT a little higher because you do not seem to have much research experience even thought you are interested in neuroscience. Try to find a lab internship focusing on neurology at a facility near you and shadow some neurologists if possible. Take the SAT II tests for at least 2 sciences and a math course (I recommend Chem, Physics, and Math II because you took AP bio in your freshman year and it might be hard to try to remember all those facts). Also, establish great relationships with your counselors and the teachers you’d like to write your recs. Try to do some more leadership in school. If you are driven, I see no reason why you cannot succeed.

Chance me back please?
