Chances for Junior Transfer from WUSTL to Penn, Columbia, Yale

<p>I just finished my 3rd semester at WUSTL and was considering applying to transfer to Penn, Columbia and (as a reach) Yale. </p>

<p>High School Stats:
Graduated from a top 2 boarding school with a GPA of ~4.6/6.0 (pretty much in the middle of a highly competitive class)</p>

<p>ECs (do these still matter?):
Founding President of Global Health Club
President of Art Club
Some microbio research
Lots of Community Service</p>

<p>SAT: 2290
CR: 760
M: 760
W: 770</p>

<p>College:
Major: Undeclared but currently taking mostly business school classes with a focus in public health. </p>

<p>GPA: 3.80 (Got a B in Spanish last Spring. Otherwise, A's, A-'s, one A+ in a public health class) (F'08: 3.86, S'09: 3.76, F'09: 3.89)</p>

<p>ECs:
Executive Board on a global health org that has a chapter at Columbia
Independent research paper/ project on micro-finance with B- School professor
Research Assistant for Organizational Behavior Professor
DJ on campus radio station
Member of sorority, women's rights club
Internship at NYC Mayor's Office to Combat Domestic Violence last summer
Waited tables at nice-ish NYC restaurant during summer</p>

<p>Recs: I think I could get some good recs from the professors with whom I've been working. </p>

<p>I hope this is enough info. Thanks so much! I would also appreciate any other recs for schools with good public health/ health and anthro programs.</p>

<p>I should have probably also mentioned that I received a W last Spring after switching out of Calc II class (I’ve since taken a variation on the same class and got an A- [.02 from an A. arrrgh!]) and that my Spring GPA was actually a 3.68 (the GPA I listed for that semester was my overall GPA at that time). Please help! Thanks!</p>

<p>idk much about transfers, but I think you’ll have a good chance WUSTL. Penn, also very probable, and the last two, idk, but then again, with Yle and Comubia it’s never guaranteed :P</p>
