Hey I'm from California and I'm looking at a lot of LACs and UCs because I love the small discussion based classes at small schools, but it might not be worth all the super high tuition fees since the UCs are so great and so much cheapers. That said, chances for:
UCs-Berkeley, LA, Santa Cruz, and maybe Davis and/or SD
Carleton (i know kind of impossible but...)
Vassar
Macalester
Whitman
Bates
Colby
Hamilton
Kenyon
Grinnell?
University of Puget Sound
Boston College? (not a LAC but i like the idea of having options...)
Boston University?
SATs: 2120 (700-m, 720-cr, 700-w) and i'm retaking in may and might do
better but probably not by a huge amount
SAT subject: World History-720 bio-620 and i'm taking lit and spanish in june
Extracurriculars: Soccer, Environmental Club, Hamiltonians (a history club sort of), Usherettes (It's a school community service organization and i'm secretary if that counts for anything), Humanitarian club, I've volunteered at the library, at a camp for little kids and am starting at a preschool for homeless children.
I'm half mexican and half italian
I've taken 3 AP classes so far: World History, Environmental Science, and US History and I have taken one college class over the summer, biology
top 10%
Next year I'm taking
Calc (a college class offered on campus)
AP English
AP Gov/Econ
AP Spanish
Soccer
Psychology at city college?
Thanks so much! If you have any other suggestions for schools to add or cut from the list that'd be great!

please? anyone????

ok well lots of people are looking and not commenting...if you think i'm aiming too high you can just be honest and give me more suggestions! I'm kind of new to this so help would be fantastic!

bump bump...

Well, you have 17 colleges; narrow that down to at most 10.

I don't even see a GPA...
