Chances for law school with undergrad major?

I've always been really interested in going to law school or law enforcement. In order to assure a high chance of acceptance in a reputable law school what undergrad majors do you suggest?

Assuming I do well.

I would really like to do one of these:
- Sociology with a concentration in Criminology
- Criminology or Criminal Justice
- Pre Law

Help!

Majors other than pre-law are of no concern.

I do not know, at this point, how easy it is to get high grades in sociology with a concentration in criminology or criminology, given your inclination, so let’s say that, whatever you choose, you need to get a high LSAT score (170+).

“Pre-Law” is kind of a non-discipline, you are better off getting a solid, well-rounded education that will hone your critical thinking and persuasive writing skills. Most people I know who went into Law School had undergrad majors like History, Government, or Classics. Definitely take a class in Logic through your Philosophy department, that class will help you with the kinds of questions featured on the LSAT.

Thank you very much for the feedback. Should I minor in something like philosophy? I heard that is really effective
