Chances for Lehigh ED

Hey guys,

I am a junior in high school. I just came back from visiting a ton of colleges, and I have decided that Lehigh will be my first choice. Here are my stats.

Freshman - 3.0 uw
Sophomore - 3.55 uw
Junior - 3.6 (if all goes well) uw; 4.1 w

ACT - 33 on test, 9 on writing (that was the first time, plan to retake (plan for 34-35))

Asian, Bay Area California (hopefully this helps)

Eagle Scout (with bronze, gold, and silver palm) (member of OA) (served as patrol leader and troop guide), Varsity badminton team captain (about 40 people on the team) (team trains 15 per week), club badminton (very intense) (additional 10 hours per week + many tournaments (I am nationally ranked)), play a trading card game called Magic: The Gathering at a very competitive level (traveled to Canada and Singapore to play at tournaments) (I have a very good story about how the game has changed my social and academic life and also explains my major).

I did an interview at the school, the guy said I had one of the better interviews, I have stayed in contact with him.

I believe I will be applying ED later this year, so it would be great if someone could chance me!

Thanks!!!

I also forgot to mention that I have tourette syndrome (will this help my chances?) and have ADHD as a co-morbid, hopefully, they take it easy on me!

Applying ED will help but your GPA is lower than their average. Great that it’s trending up though so keep focused on your school work! Good luck.

ED has a much higher admit rate. However, applying RD means they can see your fall grades senior year, which could help if you’re improving. My son (also an Eagle, badminton player from CA) was admitted RD. Good Luck!
