Chances for low GPA NMSF for UVa or UNC?

<p>3.0UW, 3.88W, top 15% of my class of about 650 (low gpa has a direct medical cause), 35 single-sitting ACT, 750+ SAT subject tests, likely NMF + Nat'l Hispanic Scholar (URM). Assuming decent/relatively different EC's (check my history if you need a reference) and good essays/recs, would I even stand a halfway decent chance at either? out-of-state, by the by.</p>

<p>are you applying instate at either school? If your OOS for both, UVA is a better chance than UNC</p>
