Chances for Loyola Marymount, University Of Arizona, Georgia State, UGA and more. (Updated)

Hi I’m a male, 17 year old about to be senior from Michigan. My mom just got a home in Georgia as well so I now qualify for in state there. I love SoCal and I’ve been at least once a year since I was a kid( also have family out there) my dream school is to get into UCLA but I’m open to other local schools and USC etc. I like Arizona as well and I’ve already applied a week ago. I would like help regarding OOS scholarships and money since that is a big deal. Here’s my resume so far:
3.2 UW/3.61W

Full school list:(I’ve already applied to 5 of the 8)

Intended Major: Business Marketing, Law

AP: I’ve currently taken 2 AP Classes AP World and AP US I got a 3 on the AP US
and did not take the exam on AP World
This year I will be taking AP Statistics and AP language

Extra curriculars: founder of school Spanish club
Multiple varsity football letters
Basketball team player
Volunteered at local college events

Black belt in Tae Kwon Do

I know my GPA and ACT/ SAT scores are not up to par but I’ve had a lot of troubling events such as moving 3 times in 4 years and multiple family deaths, not to excuse my grades but to show that I’ve tried my best. I also am an African American student not that it means much but hoping schools like Arizona will like that since they lack much diversity. I would love honest feedback on my chances in getting in and suggestions on earning scholarship money.
I also speak German and Spanish so if that has any benefits that would be great!
Thanks in advance!

Maybe consider retaking your standardized test if you want merit-based financial aid - Arizona gives great out of state scholarships, but you would need to increase your scores. Also, Arizona is actually quite a diverse campus  tons of Asian, Hispanic, African-American, and Native American students!

Hey thanks for responding! I just got my scores back and I got a 25 does that help my chances any more?

I think you have a good chance!

UCLA very unlikely, rest decent chances. Good luck

UCLA and USC are out of reach.
