Dear slpjig- your welcome- Just a few words of advice if I may. These boards can be great with a lot of useful information and I have found out alot of things that have really helped us, but try to remeber a few things. Every case and student is different. There are so many factors involved when admission decisions are made. There is no such thing any more as - " oh you will definetely get in or no you definetely wont" unless of course you had a 112 GPA and a perfect score on your sat or a 65 GPA and did really badly on the SATS. Also apply early admission and get it in as early as possible. Make sure your school sends in all the necessary paperwork as soon as possible. My son did not want to do the summer program. He hated the idea of starting school so soon after graduation. But he wanted PSU so much that he was willing to do it and it was the right decision for him. He has made some great friends and has been having a great time while getting 6 credits. Let us know what happens. Enjoy this summer and spend time with your friends and family, because hopefully next summer you’ll be at Penn State.-Good Luck
