<p>Yes slipig we have heard of cases where it did happen. The student we know with similar stats called up admissions after only being offered a campus branch and as soon as she said how badly she wanted to be a part of the whole Penn State UP experience and about how she knew this from the minute she stepped onto the campus the admission person pulled her file and then offered the summer program. But as I said before every student is different and there are many factors involved. Make sure you apply to other schools that you would also be comfortable going to and have a good chance to get into. Try to do all of the application stuff as early as possible. You only get to be a High School senior once so try and enjoy this year.
