17 hours(so far, will have complete the necessary coursework by the end of Spring Semester)
GPA - 4.0
Coursework - Includes relatively hard classes like Calculus, Economics, English 2, US History. I got a 95+/100 in all my classes besides English. In English, I was the only person in the class that got an A.
Texas Resident
Essays - Should be good(will not say great, probably won't be terrible either)
Letters or Rec - Good
ECs - For first semester of college I pretty much spent my time working on school and a job, so no leadership type things here. I've heard that ECs don't mean much in transfer admissions.

You have a great resume and seem to be a great student. I've heard that of those accepted into UT, 95% come from UT system schools. Your chances are grim as you will be competing with current UT students.

That's about a 17% acceptance rate with a median GPA of 3.87. If you have a 4.0 and have completed all the major coursework (MIS 310, Calculus I/II, one year of foreign language, macro/microeconomics) by the end of this year, I'd say you have a strong shot.

Do you think they would favor a student from another UT system school over, say a student from another in-state university (assuming they had equal stats)?
