Hi. can you please chance me for the following Universities please, just applying here since I'm a canadian citizen and tuition is much cheaper. From US.

UofT ~Arts and Sciences
McGill ~Arts and Sciences
McMaster ~Life Sciences and Bachelor of Heath Sciences Honors Program

My info:

3.91 GPA (Unweighted)
Highest SAT: 2000 (700CR/680M/620W)
SAT Subjects:
Math II: 700 ~ meh
Math I : 670 :C
Chem: 620 :'C

Hmm, okay then, thanks. So does low match for the life sciences in McMaster, or Health Sciences? Good to know though, really hoping for mcgill. Anyhow, anyone else have a opinion?

Hmmm I’m not too sure about American applicants, but I’m assuming it’d be harder. Health Sciences from what I know is a reach, even for domestic applicants with your stats since it’s a really competitive program. You need at least a 90% (Don’t know GPA conversions) to be even considered (average for the incoming class is around 95-96%), and the supplemental application/ECs matter a lot. I know someone with a 98% average (granted, he had basically no EC involvement) who was rejected. It’d be easier to chance you for Health Sci if you told us your ECs.

Well, a 3.91 usually ends up from 94~96% I believe. As for ECs:

Clubs:
Programming
Psych
Pre-med
Chess

Volunteer Work: (~= 150 Hours)
Children’s soccer league assistant coach.
Senior center (Manage a computer lab + help with social events)
Helping in Hospital

ECs:
Swimming
Top 75 Programmers in Canada (7 Times in a row)

Classes:
French (13 Years + bilingual)
Business classes (accounting, computer business, intl business, intro to business)

Also, what do you think about McGill and U of T?

Ah, okay thanks for the conversion.
Hmmm with McGill it says here: [Admissions Standards - U.S. High School | Applying to Undergraduate Studies - McGill University](http://www.mcgill.ca/applying/standards/unitedstates)
that you must have a 670 in all subject tests/SAT I areas to be considered for the Arts and Sciences so that might be a problem…
UofT just requires above 600 in every component, so you’re okay, especially with such a high average.
And your ECs are decent, so as long as your supplemental essays were good, you should have an above average chance at Health Sci (considering that the acceptance rate is quite low). So basically, I think your chances would be:

UofT: Match
McMaster (Health Sci): Low Reach
McMaster (Life Sci): Low Match
McGill: Reach
