you havent taken calculus

I’m taking it over the summer.

I think you have a great shot at all the schools. Some of your ECs are unbelievable:

Published an award-winning children’s book about the environment
Finalist in an international environmental competition
1st place in a national environmental competition

Yes, your GPA is low for the top schools. But I think at least one, and probably more, will overlook the GPA because of your ECs.

Thank you for noticing those
I really do hope that they will overlook my weak point.

Your stats are exactly the same as or extremely similar to several other “users” who have posted chance me threads before, and who were later revealed to all be the same person (I can’t remember all of them, but one of the usernames was bookwormer), which makes me suspicious, no offense.

^ Ignore the ■■■■■.

Hah okaaay.

“This forum over values GPA and SATs.”

I’d like to nominate this for the CC quote of the decade.

Where do we vote?

"Be realistic people. She has a 3.62 UW GPA. She is NOT in for sure at any of the ivy leagues. They routinely reject 4.0 and 36 ACT students. She has a chance, but is in no way for sure in. "

GPA is not the only thing the admin people are looking at. I know people who got a 1770 in their SAT and got into harvard. They had excellent EC’s.
She seems to have really and i mean really good EC’s too.She has a very very good chance.

Where are you applying ED?

facepalm Not you AGAIN… last time, you said that your younger cousin was making accounts posting your stats. What’s the excuse this time? You may even have made other accounts that I haven’t heard of yet. sushii/mariella28/OneLoveOneLife/bookwormer/ctgirl628, this really needs to stop. It’s getting out of hand. I urge you to shut down the computer RIGHT NOW and go do all the summer activities you’ve been planning to do rather than making multiple accounts, each with multiple chance threads. I’m serious. Also, please do NOT post projected stats. Getting a 4.0, especially at a top prep school, is extremely difficult, and even more so when you’re a junior transfer from a mediocre public school. Take it from someone who’s already done it. (For the record, I didn’t get a 4.0, and I didn’t transfer from a poor public school either.)

In any case, this obsessive behavior really needs to stop. It’s unhealthy, and what are the chances that everything is going to work out as planned? I may even notify the mods the next time I see a thread like this. Come back next summer when you have actual stats for us to chance.

Your environmental stuff should give you a great shot at Dartmouth…its something very much a part of the culture of the school

Oxford does not at all care about extracurriculars or GPA, it’s all about the marks you get in your standardised tests. I would suggest you go on their website and look at the requirements for the course you want to study, its fairly straight forward there.

Wow I think fledgling is right. I will give you the benefit of the doubt however.

However, the only thing that didn’t make sense was getting a 3.5 gpa in a mediocre public school, and going to a top prep school and getting a 4.0 11 and 12th grade seems pretty far fetched for me. EC’s are pretty good though! (Based on the assumption you really did do those things.)
