SAT of approximately 1800-1900 (based on PSAT, which was math, reading and writing only, no essay)
taking SAT subjects tests in chemistry, physics and math level 2 without numerical predictions, but im sure ill do pretty well
TOEFL score of 118-120 (out of 120)

<p>You have a decent shot at good engineering schools (depends on what you are aiming for). Some Ivies are probably a reach but you may get in a couple.</p>

<p>@nkearney44 Honestly, you’ve just said on everyone’s threads “GREAT JOB, YOU"LL GET IN EVERYWHEREEEE!!!111!!!1!” and then you’ve posted your thread and begged for chances. Obviously you aren’t even reading anyone’s info, but just telling them what they want to hear in the hopes that they’ll indulge you and answer your thread. You’re not helping anyone here.</p>
<p>@Vargas you’ve done the same thing on every thread, as well. Both of you are offering no help whatsoever, but just begging to be chanced.</p>
<p>But either way, I will be honest here and give you a real chance.</p>
<p>I don’t think your chances at a top engineering school are all that great. Your GPA and test scores are low for the top schools, and your ECs are as well. For Ivys, I don’t think you’d get into any. And the same goes for top engineering schools. But I do think you could get into engineering schools that are still good, but lower down.</p>
<p>The same goes for your friend, because your stats are very similar.</p>

There were some people applying to incredibly competitive schools that you just said “I think you’ll get into all of those schools.” Then posted your link. But whatever. <p>First off, I understand you are looking at good engineering schools, but are there any in particular?</p>
<p>That being said, you both have a fair chance of getting into a good engineering school. The only real concerns are GPA and test scores, which are not too difficult to fix. However, I personally feel that your ethnicity (Hispanic, namely Colombian) might work in your favor as well.</p>
<p>I think you have great extracurriculars, especially for you vargas, the robotics club will be really helpful. I think you have great chances, the only hurdle I see is ur gpa for really top colleges. perhaps if you try to get that gpa up a little it might help. Good luck!</p>
