<p>First off, I understand you are looking at good engineering schools, but are there any in particular?</p>
<p>That being said, you both have a fair chance of getting into a good engineering school. The only real concerns are GPA and test scores, which are not too difficult to fix. However, I personally feel that your ethnicity (Hispanic, namely Colombian) might work in your favor as well.</p>
