<p>I'm a junior right now.</p>

<p>SAT: 2170 (750 Writing, 740 CR, 680 Math (should i retake, i know i can do better but is it worth it for math)</p>

<p>AP:5 on European History and taking 5 exams this year</p>

<p>GPA: Good enough 4.0+</p>

<p>Extracurrics: Pretty good, not perfect
Go to prestigious independent private high school
Awards: Good amount
Recs: Probably good recs.
Chances for following colleges: Cornell, Columbia (My friend got in who got 2170) WUSTL, USC, JHU, Duke, Stanford, Vanderbilt</p>

<p>if you think you can score at least 30-40 more points on math then yes.. (anything 700 or above looks better than a 680)</p>

<p>alot of privates dont put the writing section into the avg sat 1 score. They look at it but as of now you have 1420. Your friend who got into Columba with a 2170 too might have had higher -shrug- who knows. But yes, definitely take it again.</p>
