I'd say Berkeley's a reach. The GPA is a bit too far below Berkeley's average, the SAT scores are somewhat weak (overall, slightly below average), the SAT IIs are good, good honors/awards, average ECs. Being a URM/low-income student will help.

cant stop laughin wuts w/ u and french.. lol

u dont want Zidane by you =P haha.. well, i think its funny, you should keep tryin tho..
and i think if your from CA, you have a great chance! Berekly is a killer for anyone other than its geographic regions, as is the case w/ Rutgers and other schools..

kyledavid80- Being an URM doesn't matter for UCs since affirmative action is no longer in practice (by the UCs, at least).

Being an Asian doesn't matter for UCs, but to say that Berkeley/UCLA don't practice some form of AA would be naive. They do. They just don't do so overtly. You can see many URMs -- here on CC, even -- who have subpar stats and who get into Berkeley. The university has tried to find a proxy (adversity, on income, etc.) and it's been successful. But even then, some URMs do get in on less strict standards.
