chances for Medill?

I'm a junior interested in Medill and I'm looking for some honest feedback about my chances.

GPA Unweighted: 3.9
GPA Weighted 4.1
Class Rank: I was 5/500ish but then I got the B in chem so I would guess its 25 at the lowest.

Taken the hardest course load available. I will end up graduating with 9 AP classes, 7 honors classes and one dual-enrollment class.

This year's schedule:
AP English Lang O (it's higher than an A in an advanced class, think an A+)
AP European History A
Honors Chem B
Honors Pre-calc O
French III A
Journalism III A

Next Year:
AP Stats
AP Lit
AP Gov
AP French
Dual-enrollment Physics
Journalism IV

ACT:35
PSAT:215 (my counselor told me I should get National Merit)

EC's
*Volunteering at local library
*NHS
*Tech crew for school plays
*work 20 hours a week during school year, 40 during summer
*News Editor as school newspaper as sophomore
*Editor in Chief this year (We're one of the top five high school newspapers in the country winning some very prestigious national awards. Last year, I won seven individual awards, including a second place national one and I should earn a few more this year.)

I'm very passionate about journalism, along with my work on the paper, I will have been to four camps by the time I graduate and I am currently doing a mentorship at my local newspaper.

I'd just like some honest feedback about my chances. Thanks!

I'd argue you've got real chances at any school you'd consider but the journalism ECs will certainly weigh in your favor even more heavily at Medill. Bolstered by great grades and a 35 ACT you're a great candidate.

Definite Match. I would be suprised if they didn't take you, espescially with your many journalism EC's.

what's the name of your school newspaper? (if you dont mind me asking)

I'd be very surprised if they didn't accept you.

Yeah. What's your school newspaper name?
