<p>I'm a sophomore and I realize it might be a little to early to tell so I'm also looking for suggestions.
I'm looking for a merit based scholarship and I think these schools would be good for that:
UVa
Wake Forest
Miami
USC
UNC
Academics:
4.0/4.35 GPA
All honors classes plus highest school band
221 on PSAT as sophomore (hoping math score will improve after Algebra II)
99 percentile on PLAN
ECs:
JV lacrosse captain before being moved up to varsity as a freshman
Frosh-soph soccer team captain
Undefeated academic bowl team captain
Starting volunteering with Special Olympics this winter</p>
<p>My brother (very similar to me) received a full ride to University of Miami. I realize my ECs are a little weak so I could definitely use help on those. What are my chances of merit scholarships? Any suggestions of places to apply?</p>
