Hey guys any advice? Preferably someone who has received the scholarship(s) I've listed. 85 views no responses?!

Sigh. With that pedigree I think most can't understand why you are even bothering to ask about your chances for admission. With the caveat, of course, that the admit rate is somewhere under 20%. As far as the scholarship, I'm sorry but I just don't know.

Okay, here's my take... You are a strong candidate for all the top schools in the US. You know it and I'm sure you're planning to apply to many of those top schools. If you want to hear on this board that WashU is a "safe" bet in case you don't get into HYP..etc, you won't hear that, because WashU doesn't like being the "safety" for HYP and might very well waitlist you if they percieve that to be the case. If you are genuinely interested in attending WashU, make sure to communicate that to the school. Apply for the merit scholarships. Your stats are in where they need to be for merit, but the competition is stiff and there are a limited number of merit scholarships. Good luck.

Read there were around 1500 apps for thirty something honorary scholarships (full and half tuition). Does not include Ervin, Rodriquez and Danforth scholarships. someone said there was a point system assigned to applications with the essay being major.

Actually WashU is my #1 choice right now for a number of reasons. I'm applying for HYP because my parents are making me, but even if I get in I probably won't enroll.
