Chances for MIT and GA Tech?

<p>Hey everyone, I'm applying early action to MIT and Tech and was hoping someone would chance me.
Both colleges superscore (correct me if I'm wrong on that), so:
34 ACT (35 English, 33 Math, 34 Reading, 35 Science, 8 Writing)
4.1 GPA</p>

<p>EC's:
Boy Scouts (7 years, Senior Patrol Leader, Eagle scout with Gold Palm)
(note: for the rest of my EC's I am just including the years I have participated in high school)
Band (4 years, marched in Macy's parade and Tournament of Roses parade)
Latin club (founder, 2 years)
Math team (4 years)
Church basketball team (4 years)
Beta club (3 years)
Scholar's Bowl (1 year)
Chess club (1 year)</p>

National Latin Exam, Summa cum Laude
NLE, Magna cum Laude
National Merit Semifinalist
Mu Alpha Theta
AP Scholar with Honor</p>

<p>You have a great shot at GATech. However, your GPA might be too low for MIT. What is your course load? Also, are you a leader in any of your ECs?</p>

<p>I was a senior patrol leader in scouts (highest leadership position available). I was the founder of my school’s Latin club and I am currently a section leader in my school’s band. I also attended a leadership workshop last summer, but I don’t think that’s a big enough thing to put with EC’s.
As for my course load, I have taken every AP class I possibly can have. This year I had to take regular history because of scheduling conflicts, but everything else is AP.</p>
