-Ski Club
-Math Team - placed 3rd in state for last 2 years.
-Spanish Honor Society
-Mu Alpha Theta
-Volunteer at a hospital ~4hrs/week (only in Fall/Winter)
-Referee youth hockey games (Just started this winter)
- Will be in NHS next year, it's restricted to seniors.

Do you have an idea of where you fall in rank? I.e top 1% 5% or possibly ranked 1st or 2nd in the class?

They actually don’t rank even internally, but I’d venture that I’m in the top 5%.

First of all, if you need anyone to help you branch out of state for the Panama club, count me in. My bro is in Panama, too!

Focus on that club a lot. You other ECs don’t stand out too much.

You are in a underrepresented minority (Hispanic), so you do have better chances.

You look competitive for Dartmouth, and an attainable reach for Dartmouth and MIT. Just try to do the best you can on Math.

URM (check hispanic on common app for a maximized boost) with your stats and ECs will get you in Dartmouth ED; MIT EA may be bit more of a stretch (EA there doesn’t really give much of a boost) but it’s not ruled out, esp. with URM advantage. If you love Dartmouth, and only if you love it, ED is def. the way to go.

You’ll want to describe what you’ve specifically accomplished with your non-profit. Just starting one doesn’t mean anything. I don’t know what you’ve done already, but you should look into expanding yours; it seems like it has a lot of potential. A 2350+ SAT score would also help a lot for MIT, especially since you don’t have any math/science ECs.

As for current chances, I would say you have medium to high chances at Dartmouth and medium chances at MIT.

Good chance at Dartmouth. MIT is low reach. Remember Taft many others will have great math/science ECs.

Any thoughts on Harvard EA?
